CircRNA-mCherry

CircRNA-mCherry is a circular RNA (circRNA) encoding the red fluorescent protein mCherry, which exhibits an excitation maximum at 587 nm and an emission maximum at 610 nm. CircRNA-mCherry is suitable for RNA stability studies, fluorescence tracking, and live-cell imaging. The transcript is designed for expression in eukaryotic cells. It contains the nucleic acid sequence encoding the 236 amino acid mCherry protein sequence. The circRNA is generated from an RNA transcript produced by in vitro transcription from a DNA template, followed by a circularization step. Promoter sequences used to drive transcription are not part of the final circRNA product. For research use only (RUO).
