IFNA mRNA is a ready-to-use messenger RNA (mRNA) encoding Interferon Alpha (IFNA), a type I interferon that plays a central role in antiviral defense and immune regulation. IFNA mRNA is well suited for research on antiviral responses, tumor immunology, immune modulation, and for mRNA delivery. The transcript is designed for expression in eukaryotic cells. It contains the nucleic acid sequence encoding the 189 amino acid IFNA protein sequence, together with non-coding regulatory elements typically required for efficient translation and stability (5′ untranslated region, 3′ untranslated region, and a 3′ poly(A) tail). The mRNA contains a 5′ Cap 1 structure, and all uridine residues are fully substituted with N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m¹Ψ) to support robust protein expression and to reduce innate immune sensing relative to unmodified mRNA. The mRNA is produced enzymatically by in vitro transcription from a DNA template, followed by capping, polyadenylation, and purification. Promoter sequences used to drive in vitro transcription from the DNA template are not part of the final mRNA product. For research use only (RUO). Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not for human or animal administration.
