NZY Mag Tissue DNA Isolation Kit
The NZY Mag Tissue DNA Isolation Kit is designed to enable the rapid and efficient purification of high-purity genomic DNA from eukaryotic tissues and cells, and bacteria cells.
The NZY Mag Tissue DNA Isolation Kit utilizes paramagnetic bead-based technology to enable the rapid and efficient purification of high-purity genomic DNA from eukaryotic tissues and cells, and bacteria cells.
The method is based on reversible adsorption of nucleic acids to paramagnetic beads under appropriate buffer conditions, ensuring maximum DNA yield and purity while effectively removing PCR inhibitors. This kit uses optimized lysis buffer combined with Proteinase K to efficiently lysis samples and release DNA from cells. Following the lysis step, DNA is selectively bound to magnetic beads by adding NZY Mag Binding Buffer NT2 to improve binding conditions. Subsequently, magnetic separation is performed, and multiple wash steps eliminate impurities such as proteins and salts. Finally, pure DNA is eluted using NZY Mag Elution Buffer, yielding ready-to-use DNA suitable for downstream applications. The eluted genomic DNA has an A260/A280 ratio between 1.6 and 1.9 which makes it ready to use in a wide range of downstream applications, including qPCR, isothermal amplification, digital PCR, genotyping and other molecular biology assays.
The NZY Mag Tissue DNA Isolation Kit is optimized to isolate up to 20 µg of pure genomic DNA from up to 20 mg tissue, up to 1 x 106 cells or up to 1 mL of an overnight culture of bacteria. The DNA concentration can vary between 10–150 ng/μL, depending on the elution volume selected. NZY Mag Tissue DNA Isolation Kit is designed for the simple and rapid manual and automated small-scale preparation of highly pure DNA using static magnetic stands or automated workflows on platforms like the KingFisher™ Flex (Thermo Fisher Scientific™) and TANBead Nucleic Acid Extractor Maelstrom Switch 8 (Taiwan Advanced Nanotech Inc.). These systems enable the processing of up to 96 samples simultaneously, minimizing preparation time for reagents, and delivering faster and reproducible results. The optimized automation protocols allow the processing of 96 samples within 45 to 120 minutes.
