Description: CjAxe4A (CE4), E.C. number 3.1.1.72, is an enzyme from Cellvibrio japonicus that participates in the deacetylation of xylans and xylo-oligosaccharides. Recombinant CjAxe4A (CE4), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 4 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE4) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 0,25 mg/mL concentration.
