Description: CjAxe2B (CE2), E.C. number 3.1.1.72, is an enzyme that participates in the deacetylation of xylans and xylo-oligosaccharides from Cellvibrio japonicus. Recombinant CjAxe2B (CE2), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 2 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE2) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
