Description: AmFae1B (CE1), E.C. number, is is an enzyme that hydrolyzes the ferulate groups involved in the crosslinking of hemicelluloses to lignin from Anaeromyces mucronatus. Recombinant AmFae1B (CE1), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 1 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE1) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 0,5 mg/mL concentration.
