Description: BuAga16B (GH16), E.C. number 220.127.116.11, is an enzyme that participates in the hydrolysis of 1,4-β-galactosidic linkages in agarose from Bacteroides uniformis. Recombinant BuAga16B (GH16), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 16 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH16) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
