Description: BtMns38A (GH38), E.C. number 3.2.1.113 and 3.2.1.-, is an unsepecific mannosyl α-mannosidase acting 1,2 and 1,3 and 1,6 linkages of α-mannans from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtMns38A (GH38), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 38 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH38) (www.cazy.org). The protein is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2 and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
