Description: BtGla97A (GH97), E.C. number 3.2.1.3, is an enzyme that removes terminal 1-4-linked α-glucose residues successively from non-reducing ends of the carbohydrate chains releasing β-D-glucose from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtGla97A (GH97), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 97 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH97) (www.cazy.org). The protein is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2 and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration. Bulk quantities of this product are available on request.
