Description: LgAmy13A (GH13), E.C. number 3.2.1.133, is an exo-1,4-α-amylase that removes maltose residues from the non-reducing ends of the carbohydrate chain from Lactobacillus gasseri. Recombinant LgAmy13A (GH13), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 13 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH13) (www.cazy.org). The protein is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2 and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 0,25 mg/mL concentration.
