Description: CpLys25A (GH25), E.C. number 126.96.36.199, is an enzyme that participates in the hydrolysis of 1,4-β-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-glucosamine residues in a peptidoglycan and between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrins from Clostridium perfringens. Recombinant CpLys25A (GH25), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 25 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH25) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 0,25 mg/mL concentration.
