Description: BtRhh106A (GH106), E.C. number 188.8.131.52, is an enzyme that participates in the exohydrolysis of the α-L-Rha-1,4-α-D-GalA bond in rhamnogalacturonan oligosaccharides with initial inversion of configuration releasing β-L-rhamnose from the non-reducing end of rhamnogalacturonan oligosaccharides from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtRhh106A (GH106), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 106 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH106) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
