Description: BtRam78B-Kdo33 (CBM67-GH78-GH33), E.C. number 3.2.1.40 and 3.2.1.- , is a bifunctional enzyme that participates in the hydrolysis of terminal non-reducing α-L-rhamnose residues in α-L-rhamnosides and a 2-keto-3-deoxynononic acid hydrolase from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtRam78B-Kdo33 (CBM67-GH78-GH33), purified from Escherichia coli, is a modular family 78 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH78) containing GH78 and GH33 catalytic domains(www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
