Xylanase 10B & Arabinofuranosidase 43B, Ruminococcus champanellensis
Xylanase 10B & Arabinofuranosidase 43B (RcXyn10B-Abf43B), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.8 and 3.2.1.55, is a derivative of Ruminococcus champanellensis. It is a bifunctional endo-1,4-β-xylanase and exo-α-arabinofuranosidase. The recombinant RcXyn10B-Abf43B, purified from Escherichia coli, is a modular Glycoside Hydrolase family 10 and 43 (GH10 and GH43) enzyme, containing GH10 and GH43 catalytic domains, an N-terminal and an internal family 22 carbohydrate binding modules (CBM22s) and a C-terminal CBM6 (see more details at www.cazy.org).
