Description: BtHep15A (PL15), E.C. number 4.2.2.-, is an exo-processive lyase that degrades oligosaccharides resulting from the degradation of heparin and heparan sulfate from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtHep15A (PL15), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 15 Pectate Lyase (PL15) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
