Details

Restriction enzymes are used to recognize a specific sequence of nucleotides and cut double stranded DNA into smaller fragments at a specific location. Each restriction enzyme recognises different DNA sequences. MboI is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the MboI gene from Moraxella bovis. MboI activity is blocked by Dam methylation and impaired by overlapping CpG methylation. The optimum reaction temperature is at 37 °C.

Concentration: 10000 U/mL

Reaction Buffer: NZYtech provides MboI with a specific buffer, NZYBuffer C. For double digestions please use 10x NZYBuffer U (MB110, not provided).
