The primers have 100% homology with all reference sequences listed below and therefore have a very broad quantification profile. However, due to the inherent instability of RNA viral genomes, it is not possible to guarantee quantification of all clinical isolates. The dynamics of genetic variation means that new sequence information may become available after the initial design.
