NZYTech provides products and services that support research institutions and pharmaceutical and industrial companies worldwide. Our R&D efforts are focused on breakthrough innovations in different areas of biological sciences, including molecular biology, food analysis, enzymology of Carbohydrate-Active enZYmes (CAZYmes), production of recombinant proteins and drug discovery. NZYTech is involved in a variety of R & D projects, including the FP7 project Optibiocat ( NZYTech is also developing six nationally P2020 funded projects, BlueVenoms (project number 11199), MicroSuíno (project number 3399), which investigate novel applications for enzymes and peptides in biomedicine and the industry, SuperPol (project number 38447), which aims to generate highly efficient recombinant DNA polymerases from extremophile marine organisms, RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 (project number 48496), which aims to expand NZYTech’s productive capacity to manufacture, in large scale, real time RT-PCR kits with high efficency and simplicity for the detection of the new pandemic vírus SARS-CoV-2, GlycoMed (47033), with the objective of developing a catalog of carbohydrate active enzyme with biomedical applications (GlycoZymes), and AlgaDigest (70114), which aims to develop two rational mixtures of peptidases, isolated or in combination with Carbohydrate-Active enZymes (CAZymes).

NZYTech seeks to establish collaborations with academic and industrial partners for technology pioneering and development in different biotech and biopharma fields. We are particularly interested in exploring business opportunities to exploit our molecular biology products and high throughput gene synthesis and protein production platforms.
