Chondroitin ABC lyase 8B (BtCab8B), assigned the E.C. number 4.2.2.20, is a derivative of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. It is an enzyme that cleaves the endo-1,4-β-galactosaminic bonds between acetylgalactosamine and either glucuronic or iduronic acid.
