Description: TmAxe7A (CE7), E.C. number 3.1.1.72, is an enzyme from Thermotoga maritima that participates in the deacetylation of xylans and xylo-oligosaccharides. Recombinant TmAxe7A (CE7), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 7 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE7) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
