Description: CtPae12A (CE12), E.C. number 3.1.1.-, is an enzyme from Clostridium thermocellum that participates in the deacetylation of pectins. Recombinant CtPae12A (CE12), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 12 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE12) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 2 mg/mL concentration.
