Description: BuAhg117A (GH117), E.C. number 3.2.1.-, is a 1,3-α-3,6-anhydro-l-galactosidase that catalyses the last step in the degradation pathway of agars from Bacteroides uniformis. Recombinant BuAhg117A (GH117), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 117 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH117) (www.cazy.org). The protein is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2 and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
