Description: BtHyp137A-Gus2A (GH137-GH2-CBM57-CBM35), E.C. number 3.2.1.185 and 3.2.1.31, is a bifunctional β-L-arabinofuranosidase and β-glucuronidase from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron. Recombinant BtHyp137A-Gus2A (GH137-GH2-CBM57-CBM35), purified from Escherichia coli, is a modular family 137 and 2 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH137 and GH2) with a family 2 Glycoside Hydrolase (GH2), a family 57 Carbohydrate Binding Module (CBM57) and a C-terminal family 35 Carbohydrate Binding Module (CBM35) (www.cazy.org). The protein is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2 and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
