Lichenase 16A (BhLic16A), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.6, is a derivative of Bacillus halodurans. It is an endo-1,3-1,4-β-glucanase whose reducing group involved in the linkage to be hydrolyzed is itself substituted at C-3.
