New T4 DNA Ligases
Simplify DNA ligation for fast and efficient workflows.
In most modern molecular biology processes, DNA ligation is crucial. Yet, achieving precise DNA ligation poses a challenge for researchers, creating a barrier to experiment reliability and efficiency.
This week, NZYtech reveals two innovative T4 DNA ligases ready to overcome these challenges, making life easier for life science researchers.
- Glycerol-free T4 DNA Ligase – a glycerol-free, ultra-pure enzyme designed for quick and efficient DNA ligation, handling up to 250 ng at room temperature.
- Lyo T4 DNA Ligase (50 U/µL), featuring a freeze-dried, high-concentration enzyme. Engineered for fast and effective ligation of up to 250 ng at room temperature, it comes with tailored reaction and resuspension buffers.
Both are designed to be a lifeline for researchers dealing with the complexities of molecular biology. Connecting DNA becomes a door to significant discoveries.
Catarina Soeiro, Junior Scientist at NZYtech's R&D department, has been the project lead on these two new high performing T4 DNA ligases:
We had a clear objective in mind when designing these ligases: streamline the daily workflows of research scientists, by providing ultrapure, highly concentrated enzymes optimized for rapid ligations at room temperature. Researchers can now count with a glycerol-free T4 DNA Ligase specially tailored for seamless lyophilization, and a freeze-dried version. The focus was to make scientists' work easier, maximizing the efficiency of each research project. - Catarina Soeiro, Junior Scientist R&D
