Description: DcPme8A (CE8), E.C. number 3.1.1.11, is an enzyme that removes the methyl side chains of pectins from Dickeya chrysanthemi. Recombinant DcPme8A (CE8), purified from Escherichia coli, is a single domain family 8 Carbohydrate Esterase (CE8) (www.cazy.org). The enzyme is provided in 35 mM NaHepes buffer, pH 7.5, 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazol, 3.5 mM CaCl2, 0.02% sodium azide and 25% (v/v) glycerol, at a 1 mg/mL concentration.
