β-Acetylglucosaminidase 18A, Bacillus anthracis

Storage Conditions:
-30°C to -15°C
β-Acetylglucosaminidase 18A (BaAcp18A), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.-, is a derivative of Bacillus anthracis. It is a cortex peptidoglycan hydrolase with endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase specificity responsible for cortex peptidoglycan degradation that triggers spore germination. The recombinant BaAcp18A, purified from Escherichia coli, is a modular Glycoside Hydrolase family 18 (GH18) enzyme, with two N-terminal family 50 Carbohydrate Binding Module (CBM50) (see more details at www.cazy.org).
